Abstract:This paper reviews and analyses the proposals and grants associated with bacteria in the field of pathogen and infection from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) during the financial year 2009—2018. It also introduces the number of applications, grants and the funding money in the General Program, Young Scientists Fund and Fund for Less Developed Regions. The application codes and supporting institutions are summarized. The characteristics and problems of bacteria-associated projects in the field of pathogen and infection science are discussed.
