Abstract  Bacterial resistance is a global threat to human health, social development, and security. It is imperative to take effective measures to prevent and control the occurrence and spread of multidrug-resistant bacterial infections. Recently, six associations jointly issued Technical Guidelines for Prevention and Control of Carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative Organism Infection. The guideline put forward suggestions for the precise prevention and control of carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative organism hospital infection, including bundles, antimicrobial stewardship, hand hygiene, active surveillance cultures, contact precautions, patient isolation and environmental cleaning.
