Abstract

Influenza is a serious threat to public health. Comprehensive strategies, including strengthening virus surveillance, recommendation and promotion of vaccination, conducting outbreak investigation and control, etc. are effectively used to prevent and control influenza. New urbanization, with rapid transportation and large-scale urban population poses enormous challenges to the current system of influenza prevention and control. New measures and strategies are required.
