Coinfection among patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has been an important concern for COVID-19 clinically. This paper analysed obvious inadequacy of present research, including confusion in definition and usage of coinfection and relative terminology, absence of standards in clinical value and applicable category for novel etiologic detection techniques, and simplicity of content and methods in research. Hence some improvement opinions were suggested.
